ART + WINE + CHEESE: Artist Anne Meagher-Cook at Nepenthe

Anne Meagher-Cook is an “en plein air painter” (an artist who paints outdoors) who, in her own words, “…aims to express the essence of a place and moment in time—— reflecting the light, colors, mood and feel.”  In her new studio work, she mostly works from imagination and explores the tonalist style. She strives to portray the spiritual essence of nature, employing a more muted palette to create an atmospheric mood rather than a depiction of a certain place.

We are honored to represent Anne and her artworks at Nepenthe, and we know you will love to see her new works she is referring to as “expressive landscapes.”  It will be a special evening with this standout artist.
