ART + WINE + CHEESE: Nepenthe welcomes artist Kim T. Richards and a collection of new works just right for Summer!

Kim T. Richards lives in beautiful Loudoun County, VA, and shows her work in the Washington DC region. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, Kim had opportunities to see great art at the many museums in the city from a very young age. Inspired to pursue a career in art, Kim attended Parsons School of Design where she received classical drawing and painting training, earning a BFA in Illustration. Embarking on a 25 year career in textile design and working in NY and SF, Kim created many floral designs. Her current body of oil and gouache paintings are focused on the beauty of everyday moments, drawing the viewer’s attention to the things they might walk by without noticing.
