Rich Moore has been in the art field for over 40 years. His art journey began back in high school while attending the esteemed Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts scholarship program which was a catalyst for more formal training in college. Soon after, he became an entrepreneur graphic designer for over 20 years. Then in 2014, he returned to his original love of fine art through oil painting and so his livelihood continued with that focus. Rich aspires to create artwork that connects people to their loving Creator, and to magnify the grandeur of His creation. Rich accomplishes this through his unique style that blends realism and impressionism with a hint of the surreal. The graphic design influence continues to be embedded into the creative process in every painting.
Rich has been highlighted in American Artist, élan magazine and has been chosen in 38 juried art exhibitions at the Art League Gallery (Torpedo Factory) in Alexandria, Virginia.
On a personal note, Rich wants to live out the gift of his Christian faith with his art and by coming along side and helping others in his community. His wife Stacey of 36 years, also shares in that joy! He is a father of 2, grandfather of 2, a sports fan, and hiking enthusiast.
