Lavin Gartland

Lavin (Washington, DC) is the daughter of a U.S. Army/Vietnam Veteran and an accomplished artist, author, and historian. Over the last twenty-five years, Lavin has painted while also holding leadership roles in the White House, Congress and with various elected officials throughout the southeast. Her art has been displayed in the White House, the U.S. Capitol, and the Georgia State Capitol and is in numerous private and corporate collections.

Lavin’s family and extensive travels throughout the U.S. and abroad have influenced her love for the U.S. flag—its history and all it symbolizes. She also paints flags of other states and countries, university, club and family crests, and landscapes. Lavin splits her time between Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC.
