We are delighted to bring NEPENTHE GALLERY to our dynamic Fort Hunt community as well as to Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland and beyond. Our fine art gallery features works from a wide range of artists – local artists whom we know and love, artists from across the United States, and those from around the world – living and deceased – whose works are critically acclaimed. Art types include painting, sculpture, drawing, and photography and genres range from realism to impressionism to abstract.
Nepenthe offers both residential and corporate art consulting, including artwork leasing in your home or office.
In addition, we offer premier custom framing with the highest quality craftsmanship and a top-rate selection of the finest mouldings, mats, and glazing (glass) on the market. Our frame shop in Alexandria is located downstairs from the art gallery and provides all services on-site including custom mirrors.
It is an honor to feature works from our family’s private collection of 19th and early 20th century American art; we offer gallery talks for those masterpieces from time to time at our weekly ART+WINE+CHEESE Thursday evening events.
