Natalie Cox is originally from Fredericksburg Virginia, and graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the concentrations of drawing and painting. She works primarily with acrylic paint and ink on canvas or paper to create both small and large-scale abstract landscapes.
In 2018 her work was selected for the University of Alabama’s Annual BFA Juried Exhibition at Harrison Galleries in Tuscaloosa, Al. Her Thesis Exhibition was displayed from November 11-28 2019 in the Sella-Granata Art Gallery in Tuscaloosa, Al. In February and March of 2021 Natalie held a residency position at the McGuffey Art Center in Charlottesville, Va. The residency concluded in an open studio show and digital artist talk. Her work was selected by the Athenaeum, out of more than 500 artists, for a solo show and was displayed there in November and December, 2021.
