Suzanne McGee was a creative, devoted, delightful, musically gifted piano teacher who made music fun! She was a personal encourager to all who entered her home to take piano lessons and she used to say “…if I can get 30 minutes of music into a student’s life each week that is good enough for me….” and thanks to that approach her students arrived for their weekly lessons feeling hopeful and excited, and left their weekly lessons feeling joyful and giddy. She brought God’s light and love into the hearts and souls of everyone in her path. She passed away at 58 years old in January, 2017, and thanks to this scholarship and fund we continue to celebrate Suzanne’s amazing life and wondrous spirit with students who share her passion for music.
