Dipali Rabadiya was born and raised in India and now lives in a suburb of DC with her family. She received her degree in Masters of Business Administration in Marketing and graduated in 2002 from India. She moved to the USA in December of 2002, and worked for a few years in logistics companies in NYC, LA and San Diego, CA. Her interest in being an artist has never stopped, so she began to pursue her Degree in BFA at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. Dipali paints “alla prima,” which means painting “all at once” or “wet-on-wet,” creating works depicting ordinary things in one sitting. Her paintings incorporate bold colors and spontaneous brush marks. She believes that painting small and often improves artistic skill and encourages an individual to be more creative in their field. Teaching is an integral part of her creative work. She is a self-representing Daily painter and an Instructor. She teaches at The Yellow Barn Studio and Gallery at Glen Echo, MD. Dipali says,

“Painting and color mixing makes me feel like solving a puzzle of lights and shadows. It is more like spiritual experience and evokes my senses.”
